- In June 1880 the entire family less Jesse lived in Troupsburg where Joseph was farming. David Clarkson, father of Jesse’s future wife Lena, is listed on the same census page, so it appears they lived just down the road from each other. Joseph was renting a farm in Barker, NY in June 1900. Cora and Jesse were living at home with Jesse and Emma at the time.
